ZHENHAO YANG is an independent lighting and object design studio based in China. The studio develops original product concepts and works toward manufacturable outcomes through engineering thinking and a connected lighting production network.
Position

Not a catalog.
Not a factory showroom.

Our role sits between the design studio and the production floor. We create our own collections, while also collaborating with brands and project teams that need product development, sourcing coordination or manufacturing support in China.

We believe manufacturing knowledge should improve design — not dictate it. The objective is to preserve a clear creative idea while finding a realistic path to engineering, prototyping and production.

Principles
Material before decorationWe look for inherent character in stone, metal, glass and light rather than applied styling.
Structure as identityConstruction logic can become part of the visual language instead of being hidden after the fact.
Light as atmosphereThe source is secondary. What matters is how the object changes space.
Design toward productionConcepts remain honest about what is confirmed and what still requires engineering validation.
